This is a great treat! It hits the spot if you are craving a smoothie type drink. I must say the 1/2 cup of sugar is WAY too much. I used 1/4 cup and that was pushing it. It really is alot like the Orange Julius, I love it. Oh and I used 1/2 can of frozen 12 oz orangejuice.

My Mom used to always make this growing up. Its been a family favourite for a long time. Sometimes we use more ice.

I've made this many times before and have always liked it but this time decided to change up the recipe a bit. I used all whole milk (no water), added several whole frozen strawberries, and additional unconcentrated orange juice.

Ahhh--my kids call this sunshine in a glass. If it doesn't take you back to Junior High Home Economics, nothing will. Be warned: don't drink the whole thing yourself, as much as you might be tempted. You will be sick. ;)

Better if let freeze after making or adding more ice, seperates very quickly, substituting mango or other concentrates or adding fruit is also very good
